    This page describes how we handle information in relation to this website and any linked services. We do not sell your personal data.

    Website

    When you use this website, we may collect information you provide (e.g. contact forms, account data if you sign in) and technical data such as IP address and cookies where applicable. We use this to operate the site, respond to requests, and improve the service. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing.

    If we use cookies or analytics, they are used to run the site and understand usage. You can control cookies via your browser settings.

    Browser extension (Job Collector)

    If you use our Job Collector browser extension: by default it stores your saved jobs and applied-tracking data only on your device in the browser’s local storage. We do not collect or have access to that data unless you choose to sign in. If you sign in and turn on “Sync to website,” your saved jobs are also stored on our backend (ferazzeid.com) so you can see them in the site’s Job Tracker; the same data is then subject to our website and account practices. When signed out or with sync off, no extension data is sent to our servers or any third party. The extension’s permissions (e.g. to read the current page when you choose “Save this page”) are used only when you take that action. For more detail, see the Chrome Web Store listing.

    Browser extension (Toolbox Collector)

    If you use our Toolbox Collector browser extension: it is an administrator tool for publishing entries to this site’s public tool directory, and it does nothing until you click its icon. When you do, it reads the visible text of that one page (title, meta description, headings and main copy) and sends it, together with the tool’s URL, to our backend (Supabase), which forwards it to OpenAI for the sole purpose of drafting that tool’s description, category and tags. The page text is not retained beyond the description you choose to save, and the resulting entry is published publicly on this site by design. Your sign-in session is stored on your device in the browser’s local storage. The extension does not read pages you have not acted on, does not collect browsing history, and contains no analytics, tracking or advertising. For more detail, see the Chrome Web Store listing.
