Thinking-out-loud

I dislike my content in the short run but I love it in the long run

Note to myself on being overly critical on my own content

More often than not, I dislike the majority of the content I create. It’s normal. We tend to dislike our own voice on audio records and we tend to be too harsh with ourself on written content.  What is interesting is that all the content that managed to survive the self-critical censorship episodes, seems to be actually pretty good in retrospect.
Actually, I often surprised, how I was able to put out such great stuff. The lesson learned here (repeatedly) is: Do not delete your content. If you are struggling, archive it or make it private, but never delete it. You will eventually love your stuff at a later point in time, guaranteed. Even if it is just to serve as a mirror for your progress.
